NETWORK SECURITY - We have highly secure Firewall systems for connecting your networks to the Internet without worry. We offer Network Address Translation (NAT), Virtual Private Networking (VPN), and custom port translation capabilities. With NAT you can connect your entire corporate network to the Internet transparently with only a single IP address. The Paktronix Systems Firewall can connect using ISDN, 56K-T1/E1 Frame Relay/Dedicated, and dial-on-demand connections. With the Paktronix Systems VPN modules you can connect any two networks together across the Internet using full encryption technology.

Intra/Inter Net - We designed and implemented a global SNMP/CMIP standards based centralized management system for a multi state healthcare network. We provided constant monitoring of packet & frame traffic, NetWare & Unix servers, multiple vendor routers & network concentrators, both over Internet through firewalls and internally over a PDN Frame Relay. All network components could be manipulated from the central management station, and RMON traffic on any ring could be captured.

We designed a multipoint parallel routed Token Ring backbone system for a large corporate internetwork. These backbones were fiber based and multiprotocol, with all connections firewalled by routers. Installation was phased into an existing system while maintaining usability of the legacy infrastructure. Redundant ring structures maintained system integrity in the event of severe failure. The infrastructure is designed to survive catastrophic sectional failure without global system collapse.
