Our secure firewall systems connect your networks to the Internet without worry. The PakSecured Firewall can connect over ISDN, 56K-T1/E1 Frame Relay/Dedicated, dial-on-demand, and any LAN interface supported under Linux. We use full Policy Routing Security Structures along with the standard IPChains/NetFilter stateful packet filtering code to provide full data level protection for your networks. The advanced modular design of the runtime firewall permits adding a wide array of enhancement functions on the fly. Report Generators, Specialized Port Forwarders, and Proxy Inspection Services are among the enhancements offered. Policy Routing Security Structures The advanced features of Policy Routing allow us to code and track a packet based on any binary signature within the packet. This includes being able to differentiate between discrete data flows within the same application data stream. Once the packet has been identified various actions can be taken including alarm output. Network Address Translation (NAT). NAT enables better usage of your assigned IP address allocation. NAT includes the traditional Linux Masquerade which is an application of many-to-one NAT, along with one-to-one and one-to-many NAT enabled through security structures and Policy Routing features. The various types can be selectively and multiply enabled to provide a comprehensive solution.
Modular Configuration and Firewall Operation We are not referring to the Linux Kernel Modules. We designed the firewall system to perform security functions as independantly as possible. Security functions can be added, subtracted, or modified to provide a highly customized solution. We have built highly specialized security systems using the same basic components of our standard firewall systems. You get the flexibility of configuring a specialized system now or in the future embodied within every PakSecured Firewall.
Enhancement Functions and SnapIns Our modular firewall security functions let you choose what enhancements you would like to use without requiring a whole new system. Our more popular options are the Accounting Report which tracks usage over many variables; the Specialized Port Forwarders which enable and track custom network accesses; and Proxy Inspection Services which provide advanced filtering and access control to network services.
